December number line

We made a number line from 1- 18 using ornaments.  Each student had to make a pattern using their red and green ornaments, then write the numbers in order from 1- 18.  We are using these number lines to play a game with a partner.  The students each have a dice to roll and they add the numbers they roll to make an addition sentence. This has been another fun way to practice addition facts.  Students will be taking their number line home for Christmas break.  Please have your child teach you how to play their addition game.  All you need is a pair of dice and this little number line they made.
