I love this! You could bring in inferring too. Have the kiddos infer about the trash you bring in. Then they could sort by you can recycle or you can't recycle it. After that, they could create! =)
I am a new follower and a 1st grade teacher too! I would love for you to come visit me when you get the chance. I have lots and lots of *freebies*!
Welcome to our blog. I am the luckiest girl in the world! I am married to my best friend and we have a beautiful little girl. I graduated from USU in May 2006. Dave and I got married in August 2006. Our little munchkin was born March 2009. I am a first grade teacher, and completed my Master's of Education in May 2009. I am just beginning my 6th year of teaching. Dave graduated from USU in May 2010. Dave works hard as a high school Agriculture education teacher. He is also a farmer on the side, helping with our family produce business. He is taking classes to complete his masters degree as well. He is one hard working daddy! :)
